The way you move

The process of getting things from different places and bringing them together is fascinating. As an exploration of how museums curate their collections, I developed an imaginary collection. The work explores the potential of a collection by using it to create an interpretive. My collection labeled “The Way You Move”, contains sculptures created by artists that portray cloth in various mediums such as wood, bronze, stone, and horn. My interpretation for “The Way You Move” focuses on the student population that goes to galleries. A kiosk screen design that features all the works in the collection contains information on the materials, processes, and details of every sculpture. The intent was to create an interactive experience for the students to learn more about each sculpture and appreciate the craftsmanship.
